ASE participates in a forum on artificial intelligence infrastructure engineering

The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE), represented by Ms. Abla Najdawi, Head of Organizational and Institutional Business Sector, participated in the NUJUM16 forum entitled “Architecting Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure in Jordan,” held at the Fairmont Amman Hotel. The forum was organized by NUJUM16, under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, and in partnership with the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (intaj). Officials, academics, investors, technology leaders, and entrepreneurs participated in the forum to discuss Jordan’s needs for building an integrated ecosystem capable of supporting the future of artificial intelligence in the Kingdom.

The forum included several panel discussions addressing a number of topics related to artificial intelligence, most notably the Jordanian AI model, education and ecosystem building, the economics of AI, and the readiness of institutions to leverage AI technologies and the capabilities being developed. The forum also witnessed the signing of three strategic memoranda of understanding with Al Hussein Technical University, MDCS.AI, Lorentz Centers, SAMARA, and EARTHwise, covering key aspects of Jordan's emerging AI ecosystem.

It is worth mentioning that NUJUM16 represents a dialogue platform that brings together representatives from the government, industry, technology, finance, healthcare, energy, e-gaming, and academic sectors, with the aim of exchanging experiences and visions regarding the future of artificial intelligence infrastructure and the requirements for developing its national system.
