Order Management System (OMS)

A Service through which brokerage firms can Create their own trading screens that meet their needs to enter buy and sell orders into the electronic trading system instead of the exchange's trading screens, and for this purpose the exchange enabled the broker to connect with electronic trading system through the Data Exchange Gate (FIX Gateway) & the Data Feed Dissemination system, conditioned with brokerage firm’s subscription with two trading screens from the exchange for use in emergency cases and Block Trades, in conformity with the provisions of providing live trading data bases for Exchange members. For this purpose, the ASE has prepared a guide that organizes all requirements that fully comply with order management systems in brokerage firms.

 

Advantages of the Order Management System

1- Operating the Desired number of Screens that meet Broker’s needs for the purpose of entering, managing, and controlling orders, in conformity with the provisions of providing live trading data bases for Exchange members.

2- Providing Internet trading service to the Broker’s clients after applying for this service and fulfilling all requirements mentioned in the Directives of trading with Securities at the ASE.

3- Working as a licensed data distributor for the Amman Stock Exchange after signing the required agreement.

Service Requirements

1- The application for OMS approval on the brokerage firm's site.

2- The broker's connection with electronic trading system through the Fix Gateway and the Live Data Feed system.

3- The system must meet the functional and technical requirements of the ASE that are mentioned in the guide before starting to be tested by the ASE.

4. The broker's commitment to operate OMS and Live Data Dissemination only in its licensed site.

5- The broker's commitment to pay all fees mentioned in the provisions of providing live trading data bases for Exchange members.

6- Signing the Data Dissemination agreement if the broker wants to work as licensed data distributor for the Amman Stock Exchange.
